Local moves are typically calculated on an hourly basis. For those moves where only a small list of items are being relocated we can also charge by item.  In other words, the number of items you wish to move will determine the overall estimate of the move and the number of moves you will need.

When do I need to call to schedule an appointment for moving?  Please call as soon as you have a moving date.  We also specializes in last minute moves.  Contact us for an estimate.

Can someone come to my home?  We offer free on-site estimates, please contact us at 904-285-2426 or via email at firstcoastmovers@gmail.com for an appointment.

Do you have access to the elevators or are there stairs involved?  This will affect the estimate that you receive.  It is important that the customer service representative is made aware of the buildings that our movers will be working in.  If not, you may have additional costs added to the estimate provided.

Do you provide packing materials?  Yes, we offer a full line of packing supplies and we also deliver.

What methods of payment do you accept?  All major credit cards as well as cash, certified checks and money orders.

Other considerations:

What types of items has this company previously moved? We are experts in the moving of pianos and antique furniture; having done deliveries over the years for antique furniture stores.

What else is done to protect my possessions? Your furniture is always shrink-wrapped and mirrors, pictures, marble and glass are boxed and crated for your protection.
